General Information
This Privacy Policy is designed to inform the Users of the Website and the Application about the details we collect, what we do with these details and how we safeguard them. In any case, UMI Walk strives to protect personal privacy and complies with all laws, principles and rules applicable to the privacy of personal details of its Users.
By using the Website and the Application (as defined in the Terms, Conditions and Risks), you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
UMI Walk reserves the right to change and/or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We strongly recommend that you regularly review this document for changes. By using the Website and/or the Application after the Privacy Policy has been updated, you thereby agree to all its provisions.
Who UMI Walk's Privacy Policy is Applied to
This Privacy Policy applies to the Users of the UMI Walk Website, UMI Walk App, UMI Walk's affiliated sites and any services we provide.
Information UMI Walk Collects
We only collect the information we need to provide services to the Users and protect them in certain situations. This may include, without limitation, the following:
Your email address, including your indicated name and other data, if any. This data is collected when the User registers on the Website and/or in the Application, when they subscribe to our email newsletter (if this option is available), and when they send their requests to the technical support service via email.
Public address of your wallet used to carry out any transactions. We can see the wallet address if you carry out certain actions, including balance deposit or withdrawal transactions, requests to the customer service / participation in prize draws in the social media, etc. However, the secret phrase for the wallet is not available to us and, therefore, is not included in the list of data we can collect.
ID of your social media accounts. We collect this data if you subscribe to our social media accounts and channels or contact us via social media. All data you openly indicate in your social media, as well as all data you voluntarily provide as you correspond with us to resolve the issues you might have become available to us automatically. These may include: your full name, date of birth, age, nationality, gender, signature, phone number, home address, utility bills, passport number, driver's license data, national identity card data, photo ID and tax identification numbers, trading data, payment/credit card numbers, information about bank accounts, financial transactions, positions, office location, health data, religious beliefs or affiliation, philosophical beliefs, criminal record, ethnic background, etc.
Information about operations that you make on the Website and/or in the Application. Collecting information about operations makes it easier to identify any suspicious activity that could lead to fraud or loss of assets. It also boosts security, allows us to fight spam and malware more effectively, as well as identify and neutralize bot software. As the blockchain space is constantly changing, we need to be prepared to deal with any new risks that may arise. Without this information, ensuring security of our service will be difficult.
Log Data
Just like many other web resources, we collect the data that your browser automatically sends to us every time you visit the Website and/or Application ("Log Data"). Such data may include the following: IP address of your device (with the last byte changed), name and version of your browser, pages of the Website and Application you have visited, date, time and duration of your visit, and other statistical information.
The Website processes this information in order to study and analyze the behavioral model of the Users and obtain visit statistics. This allows us to optimize the Website and the Application to make them even more convenient.
Use of Cookies
Cookies are small files used to identify you when you return to the Website or to the Application, and to save the settings you have selected for the Website or in the Application in accordance with your personal preferences. The Website and the Application transmit cookies to the browser you use, after which your computer stores them on your hard drive. The information stored in the cookies is determined by the server and can be used by the server every time you visit the Website and the Application.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you have the right to decline to accept them by changing your browser settings. However, this may prevent you from using all the features and functionality of the Website and Application.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a plugin developed by Google that allows website owners to obtain useful statistics regarding traffic, as well as analyze user behavior. To do this, Google Analytics uses its own cookies which are in no way related to the cookies we use.
UMI Walk Administration has no direct access to Google Analytics data since Google provides us with the collected information using its own services.
UMI Walk Administration can share the information it receives from Google Analytics with its partners. However, this information does not include personal user data.
Who We Can Share Your Information With
The information UMI Walk collects may be used or disclosed to the following persons for certain purposes:
UMI Walk employees, as well as various partners (individuals, legal entities and organizations) interacting with UMI Walk in any way in order to provide Users with the services related to blockchain and mobile applications, as well as to address any User requests sent to the technical support service.
Legislative, executive, judicial and other officially authorized authorities and representatives thereof following an official order, resolution, or prescription within the applicable legislation.
Special services, including cyber police, if we have grounds to suspect the User of involvement in cybercrime of any kind.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation of the European Union (EU) that determines how organizations shall process personal data. Since UMI Walk also provides services to EU residents, we comply with GDPR requirements. We apply this regulation to all personal data that allows us to directly or indirectly identify the User's identity.
All our employees, as well as contractors and partners we work with, sign a special non-disclosure agreement in order to ensure protection of any personal and other data of our Users.
Storage and Protection of Users' Personal Information
UMI Walk may store Users' personal information at our facilities or at the facilities of our service providers around the world.
UMI Walk is fully aware of the fact that User privacy is extremely important. Therefore, we have implemented a whole range of security measures to ensure that User data is protected as much as possible from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure and destruction. Among other things, these security measures include:
Data encryption and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol which is an advanced technology in full data encryption.
IT security measures, including password-based database protection, website monitoring, firewalls, etc.
Password encryption using the SHA256 cryptographic algorithm (used by the Bitcoin network).
The Website and the Application do not connect the wallet of the User and do not store the secret phrase for this wallet — we do not have access to this data.
However, despite the measures we take, the protection of personal data is never completely reliable when it comes to using the Internet or wireless connection, including email, phone or SMS, because we cannot protect this information after it is sent or before we receive it. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information and we have to remind you that the User, for their part, should take a responsible approach to the personal data security issue and ensure proper protection of such data from unauthorized use by third parties. If you need to contact us regarding security of storage of your personal data collected by UMI Walk, send a message to the email address indicated in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
Right to Access, Change, Delete or Restrict Processing of Personal Information
You have the right to review, adjust or change your personal information or delete this information if it is incorrect.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information; however, in this case you will not be able to use the Website and/or the Application.
You have the right to demand that UMI Walk provide you with a copy of your personal information we store. This information will be provided without undue delay for a fee for collection of information (in accordance with the law) unless such provision infringes on the rights and freedoms of other persons.
You have the right to demand that UMI Walk update any of your personal information that you consider to be incorrect or inaccurate; you can also confirm the accuracy of the data that needs to be updated.
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information if it is no longer required for the purposes it was collected or otherwise processed for if such deletion does not contradict the applicable legislation and the provisions of this Privacy Policy. However, depending on the type of information to be deleted, in some cases you will not be able to use the Website and/or Application.
Right to Restrict or Continue Processing of Personal Information
You have the right to restrict or object to our processing of your personal information if one of the following applies:
You dispute the accuracy of your personal information we have processed. In such cases, we will limit processing for a period of time we need to verify the accuracy of your personal information and obtain new, more accurate information from you. During this period, your access to the Website and/or Application may be suspended.
Processing of your personal information is illegal, in your opinion. In such cases, we will also limit processing for a period of time you need to legally substantiate your opinion. During this period, your access to the Website and/or Application may be suspended.
We no longer need your personal information for processing purposes, but you need it to establish, implement or protect legal requirements. In such cases, you have the right to send us a request to continue processing your personal information.
IF YOUR ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION IS SUSPENDED OR TERMINATED, WE WILL STORE YOUR INFORMATION IN OUR DATABASE FOR AT LEAST SEVEN YEARS FOR REGULATORY PURPOSES.
THIS IS REQUIRED SO THAT THOSE WHO ATTEMPT TO AVOID PUNISHMENT FOR ILLEGAL ACTIONS, FOR EXAMPLE, FRAUD, AMONG OTHER THINGS, COULD NOT DO THIS BY SIMPLY REMOVING THEIR ACCOUNT FROM THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION. HOWEVER, IF YOU REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION, BUT DO NOT BREAK ANY LAWS, WE WILL NOT USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR ANY FURTHER PURPOSES, INCLUDING TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES.
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT UMI Walk INFRINGES ON YOUR RIGHTS, WE ASK YOU TO CONTACT THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES AND REQUEST CONSULTATION BEFORE FILING A COMPLAINT SO THAT WE CAN TRY TO RESOLVE THE DISPUTE.
